What is it?

What is survey software?

Survey software is the tool you use to collect, in a structured way, what is going on: how people experience their work, what they run into and what they need. Most online survey software stops at building and sending a questionnaire. You remain the survey creator yourself and are left with raw data afterwards.

Deepler Research turns that around. The questionnaires are ready per topic, the AI interprets the answers per team, and the follow-up happens in the same system. You measure customer satisfaction with it too, using the same method, so you can put the internal and the external picture side by side.

The problem

Everyone wants to listen, nobody does it effectively enough

Almost every organisation measures something. Yet more than four in ten departing employees say their manager or organisation could have prevented it, fewer than one in three change programmes make the improvement stick, and manager engagement is falling faster than that of any other group. The problem is not the measuring, it is creating movement.

Sources: Gallup, Employee Turnover Is Preventable (2024) and State of the Global Workplace (2025); McKinsey, Losing from day one (2021).

Surveys stay at the surface

Generic questionnaires produce numbers, not insight into what is really going on.

Interviews do not scale

Plenty of depth, but expensive, slow and impossible to sustain across the whole organisation.

Follow-up never happens

The report ends up in a drawer and employees see nothing come back from their input.

The solution

From measurement to movement, in one system

Measuring is the easy part. Movement only starts when someone knows what to do differently tomorrow. That is why Deepler Research does not stop at a report: AI turns a team’s answers into concrete proposals for the manager. Whatever is set in motion appears as an improvement project in the project environment.

  • The AI improvement coach proposes concrete actions, per team
  • Improvement projects with an owner, a deadline and a status
  • The follow-up measurement shows whether it worked

The improvement coach does the groundwork

The manager gets a proposal instead of a report: this is what your team says, and here are three things you could do. The manager decides what to take on and stays in charge of their own team.

  • The common thread from the open answers, in plain language
  • Concrete actions, with expected impact and a deadline
  • Whatever is set in motion moves on to the project environment

At the follow-up measurement the coach puts the new scores next to the baseline, so you see whether the actions worked.
Steering the whole

Improvement projects you can actually follow

Every action that gets started has an owner, a deadline and a status. Across all teams you see what is running, what is finished and where a decision is still waiting. That is the difference with a report that ends up in a drawer.

  • Actions with an owner, deadline and status per team
  • A view of what is running across the organisation
  • The follow-up measurement is attached to the project
Demonstrable impact

Connect what employees say with what customers notice

The same method measures the customer side too. Put customer satisfaction next to employee satisfaction and you see how one affects the other: where workload rises, customers notice it in delivery times. That is the conversation where HR and the board meet.

When workload rises internally, within two measurements you see it back in what customers say about delivery times. That turns an HR theme into a boardroom theme.
18 modules

From absenteeism and workload to culture and customer satisfaction. Not everything has to be switched on: you choose what fits the question of the moment.

2 minutes

Completion time per employee. Short enough not to distract, personal enough to deliver something.

2 weeks

That is how quickly a first measurement is often live, because the modules and questionnaires are ready to go.

Going live

Up and running in four steps, then self-sufficient

You do not have to switch over all at once. Start with one module and one team, and expand as soon as it settles. The line runs it, you watch from a distance.

1

Pick a starting group

One department, one module. Start small and see quickly what works.

2

Set up the first measurement

You decide the moment and who takes part. A one-off job.

3

The managers know what to do with the coach’s proposals and take over the team conversation.

Runs on its own

Deepler tracks the progress and the follow-up; you watch from a distance.

Better together

Deepler Research stands on its own. In combination it gets stronger.

Each suite works on its own. Together they tell the same story from several angles.

In a period of two weeks, we collected information and were able to continue with our AMC plan. In any other situation, it takes weeks, if not months, to get this done. Contact is good, friendly and constructive. Very nice club to work with.”

“What makes Deepler special is that it doesn’t get stuck in numbers. It helps you immediately understand where it is and what teams need. For us, this ensured that employees themselves came up with areas for improvement and took responsibility for them. The insights were sharp and useful, but most importantly: the conversation that started afterwards made the difference. Thanks to Deepler, we didn’t get a paper plan, but change that was supported by the people themselves.”

Frequently asked questions about survey software

Wondering whether employee research with Deepler suits your organisation? These are the questions we hear most often.

What is survey software?

Survey software is the tool for collecting, in a structured way, how people experience their work and what they need. At Deepler that happens with a personal AI survey of under two minutes. You do not have to be a survey creator: you choose from eighteen modules, from absenteeism and workload to culture and customer satisfaction, and switch on only what fits your question.

Most feedback tools deliver a report. Deepler Research delivers a working system. The AI improvement coach turns a team’s answers into concrete actions for the manager, and whatever the manager sets in motion appears as an improvement project in the project environment, with an owner, a deadline and a status. At the follow-up measurement you see whether it worked.

Yes. Customer satisfaction is one of the eighteen modules and works with the same method. The interesting part is the combination: put the customer scores next to the employee scores and you see how one affects the other. When workload rises internally, customers notice it in delivery times. That turns an HR theme into a boardroom theme, and HR and the board finally talk about the same thing.

Employees choose for themselves whether to contribute anonymously or by name. Answers are reported in a way that makes individual responses untraceable, so it stays safe to be honest.

A subscription contains more than a questionnaire. You get eighteen research modules, the interpretation of the answers per team, the proposed actions for the manager and the project environment where the follow-up happens. With a stand-alone tool that work only starts after the report, and it lands on your own people. So do not count per questionnaire, count per cycle: what does a year with proper follow-up save you in turnover and absenteeism? We are happy to run that calculation on your own figures.

We hear that often, and in practice it is less daunting than it sounds: you start with one module and one team. Employees spend two minutes answering and the manager receives a few concrete proposals. For most people that is less unfamiliar than a forty-question survey. The AI does the groundwork, the decision stays with your managers. As it settles in, you switch on the next module.

By keeping the survey short and personal, and because employees see what happens with their input. The actions that come out of their answers are visible in the project environment. That visible follow-up is what makes people fill it in again next time.

Yes. All processing takes place within the European Economic Area and follows the GDPR. Answers are not linked to personal data but to an encrypted link, and results are reported in a way that makes individual responses untraceable. Employees choose for themselves whether to contribute anonymously or by name. Our privacy statement sets out exactly which data we process and how long we keep it.

Yes. Deepler can take the employee data from your HR system, so you do not have to maintain lists and new or departing employees are included automatically. Your HR system stays the source. During setup we look together at which integration fits your situation.
